& Prison Ministry
Welcome to our home page and thank you for visiting us! Sabbath Keepers Fellowship is a non-profit charity devoted to keeping and teaching of the biblical Sabbath. Our charitable efforts are directed primarily towards prison inmates and their families who observe the Sabbath and other holy days. We also provide information and educational articles to others who wish to learn about these most special of days which were created for us by our Father in heaven. You can read more about us on our About SKF page. Our Mission statement can be read below.
On our website you will find news about the people we serve, ways in which you can join and help us, information about our programs, and articles on the Sabbath itself. You can check out The Complete Believer's Calendar - for those who use the visible sighting of the new moon to mark the months and holy days. You can also stop in at our gift shop to get your calendar and other items to help support our ministry. We hope that you will enjoy looking around our site and find the information here beneficial to you. If you do, please send us an email and let us know. We want to hear from you! And please, before you leave, make a small donation to help these precious but most forgotten of men and women who are seeking, against all odds, to change their lives and keep the commandments of our Creator.
Sabbath Keepers Fellowship & Prison Ministry
Sabbath Keepers Fellowship & Prison Ministry is a fellowship of the children of YHWH Most High. Its purpose is to unite its members to serve and obey Him in all things; to bring the teachings of Yahshua Messiah to the poor, needy, and to those in prison; and to minister to the needs of their families. It is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization supported solely by the grace of our Elohym and by the charitable donations, contributions and tithes of its friends and of the general public.
Sabbath Keepers Fellowship sponsors and holds services on the 7th day Sabbath in diverse places and in prisons each week, as is made possible by prison authorities and as desired by its followers and friends. In this way it is able to use all proceeds from charitable donations, contributions and tithes for the purposes of its prison ministry.
The prison ministry is the centerpiece of Sabbath Keepers Fellowship and is the focus of its charitable operations. As well as worship services, the ministry provides books, bibles, concordances, calendars, tracts, various worship items such as the tallith (prayer shawl) and kippah, as well as holyday and Sabbath matzah (bread) and juice, to prison inmates and to their families. As a personal outreach, the ministry members provide personal correspondence to inmates promoting biblical values and ideals, as well as a Pen-Pal program that connects inmates with suitable, like-minded pen-pals. All of the ministry’s materials and programs are provided free of charge as mandated in the Holy Scriptures in Matthew 10:8, “…freely you have received, freely give.”
Sabbath Keepers Fellowship & Prison Ministry is non-denominational, seeking to bring the living water of the Word and Spirit of YHWH Almighty to all who desire it as expressed in Isaiah 55:1, “Ho! Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come buy and eat. Come buy wine and milk without money and without cost.” In obedience to His Son Yahshua Messiah’s words of love our creed is: “Then the righteous will answer Him saying, ‘Adoneinu, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? When did we see you a stranger and take you in, or naked and clothe you? Or when did we see you sick or in prison and come to you?’ And the King will answer and say unto them, ’Assuredly, I say unto you, inasmuch as you did it to the least of these my brethren, you did it to Me.”
Sabbath Keepers Fellowship & Prison Ministry is a 501(c)(3) charity and all of your donations are tax deductible. Receipts for your donations will be mailed to you upon request. 100% of all monies received by Sabbath Keepers Fellowship are used to support our inmate beneficiaries, and no employee or director of our ministry receives a salary or monthly compensation of any kind.
